IT'S A BEACH PARTY! - and you're invited! For the 41st National Austin Healey Rally, Queensland will be hosting you at the fabulous Novotel Twin Waters Resort from 06-09 April 2012. You are assured of an action packed rally weekend but given the magnificent location why not extend your stay. The longer your stay... the cheaper it gets!! So instead of three days make it a little longer and enjoy a holiday wonderland... your own patrolled beach and new attractions and activities every day.  Rally Program: Friday 6th April 2012:
A message from Twin Waters with regard to checking into your resort room. “While every attempt is made to ensure rooms are ready by 2.00pm, the hotel policy does not guarantee a 2.00pm check in. To guarantee rooms we would recommend a pre registration option.
Although the above times are our normal check in times, you are welcome to enjoy the resort facilities outside these times. Porters can store your luggage until your rooms are available and again before you depart.”

9.00am to 10.30am Interstate remote control car challenge. Practice and Qualifying Twin Waters car park
Tappet Cover racing has done the full circle after being introduced at the 2007 QLD Rally, so we are planning something different for this year’s entertainment.
We have a whole batch of Austin Healey model cars in a State v State challenge. (We’ve got the cars – you need to provide the drivers).
Cars for each state will be drawn at the welcoming party and each state can nominate their drivers for the event on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.
All cars will be auctioned at the presentation dinner on Sunday night.
More information will be available at the registration desk on Friday.
Meet us at the car park to see these exciting Healey racers go through their paces.
10.30am Sunshine Coast Lunch Run
Depart from Twin Waters for a hinterland drive to Maleny for lunch and a wander around this lovely town.
Use your free time to wander the hinterland towns of Maleny and Montville or join a group to travel to the famous Bowden’s Car Museum. If you choose not to travel to Bowden’s then the time is yours to visit other Sunshine Coast attractions or just lay around the Lagoon or pool at Twin Waters.
If you are planning on going to Bowden’s you will need to register your interest by the 28th of February. Your interest should be registered with Wayne Rabnott via email: claritycoach@optusnet.com.au
6.00pm-10.00pm Life’s a BEACH Party Lorikeet Beach, Twin Waters Dress: Theme - Beach attire – Thongs and Sarongs.
Walk 100 metres from your rooms to Lorikeet Beach Twin Waters Lagoon for our own private Beach party.
The Beach Brothers band will help us dance the night away.
Sunday 8th April 2012
10.00am-3.00pm Display Day Noosa AFL Grounds Noosaville.
Drive to Noosa from Twin Waters to show our Healeys to the Easter crowd at Noosa’s famous Farmer’s Markets – park on the AFL oval and talk all things Healey in the club house, visit the Farmer’s Markets and sample some of the terrific food for lunch or catch a bus from the bus stop at the markets to Noosa and explore Hastings Street -Noosa’s famous shopping and restaurant precinct or get in for a swim at Noosa Beach
Free time in the afternoon to visit other Sunshine Coast attractions or just lay around the Lagoon at Twin Waters.
3.30pm-5.00pm Interstate remote control car challenge. Finals Twin Waters car park.
Make sure you get back to Twin Waters in time to barrack for your state in this show of skill and daring or maybe to just chase cars back onto the track.
6.00pm-10.30pm Diamonds are Forever night. Lily’s on the Lagoon, TWIN WATERS Dress: Cocktail or dress as your favourite James Bond character.
Celebrating the Diamond Anniversary of the Healey Hundred with a James Bond (Diamonds are Forever) theme.
Again, walk 100 metres from your room to the fabulous Lily’s Restaurant in the middle of the Twin Waters Lagoon for an evening of fun, friends and food.
Trophy presentations and guest entertainers for this special night.
Monday 9th April 2012
For those who have to head off home on Monday, check out time is 10.00am but you are welcome to stay in the resort and use the facilities for the day. Stop by the club marquee on the grass outside your accommodation for a tea or coffee and Hot Cross bun before heading off.
The North Coast Highway heading to Brisbane is no place for a Healey after 2.00pm on Easter Monday and the rally committee has negotiated better rates for those staying for an extra night so spend the day exploring some of the attractions of the Sunshine Coast.
If you are staying longer……… there are other wonderful things to fill your days…..
